National Philanthropy Day is an opportunity to pay tribute to outstanding volunteers, donors, companies and fundraising professionals that have made significant contributions of time, talent and money to nonprofits that serve Southern Arizona communities.

Since 1970, Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest (LSS-SW) has ministered to the urgent needs of people in communities throughout Arizona and the southwest. Services include: Daybreak Quality Care, Community Development, Refugee and Immigration Services, Disaster Services, Life Counseling Network, Transition Services and Youth Services.

In addition to producing annual reports, WhiteSpace Design offers creative design solutions for brochures, newsletters, presentation/sales kits, materials standards and direct mail campaigns.

My Local Home Show is an online Home Show that uses print, radio, TV, and Internet advertising plus live sales & customer service staff to help businesses increase sales 7 days-a-week, 24 hours-a-day. This advertising attracts consumers to their virtual home show where they can interact with exhibitors in their virtual booths through live-chat and transact business ‘round the clock.

Recently, My Local Home Show began to feel that their logo didn’t really project the dynamic, online, 24/7 brand image they wanted to communicate. WSD gave their old logo an entirely new look, changing the color palette and incorporating a sleek, more contemporary typeface that added just the right level of sophistication.

The Gold and Silver awards will be forwarded to the National ADDY Awards competition for national judging.  We’ll keep you posted…again!

ACI wanted a sophisticated, clean, modern corporate logo that included both company names. WSD first suggested using ACI as the core company name to help achieve the simplicity and quick recognition that is essential for strong B2B branding. Then we set out to create a unique visual identifier and naming hierarchy for the logo that presented the two companies together cohesively as one unified brand.

Most recently WSD has designed the logo and stationery package and a print ad for ACI. Future projects will include new presentation folders, brochures, trade show booth graphics and more.
